Ayodhya: CM Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Ayodhya on Friday after assuming power for the second time in a row in Uttar Pradesh, has taken a big decision on Monasteries-Temples and Dharamshalas. While reviewing the Ayodhya division, CM Yogi clearly told the officers that temples, religious places and Dharamshala should be taxed as charitable instead of commercials. Before the formation of the Ayodhya district, Faizabad municipality and Ayodhya municipality used to operate facilities and taxes. After the name of Faizabad was Ayodhya district, the Ayodhya municipal corporation was also announced and with the formation of the municipal corporation, there was a big increase in tax. The situation was that the tax coming in hundreds started coming in thousands, and the tax coming in thousands started coming in lakhs, within which the monasteries of Ayodhya also came. Therefore, from the time of the first term of the Saint Yogi government, the Monasteries were demanding to provide relief from commercial tax on the temples. Now in the second term, Yogi Adityanath ordered take tax in the form of charitable instead of commercial tax for Math temples and Dharamshalas in Ayodhya, then there was a wave of happiness among the saints of Ayodhya. This happiness is going to spread not only to Ayodhya but also to different places in the whole of Uttar Pradesh, as the order given by CM Yogi from Ayodhya will be applicable to the whole of UP. Now after this, the municipal corporation will come up with a proposal on this in the meeting of the board and the monastery temples and Dharamshala will be given a big tax-related relief.
