Mumbai: The attitude of Uddhav Thackeray, son of the late Balasaheb Thackeray and former CM of Maharashtra, is now visible from turn to turn. However, this change started at the same time that Uddhav formed the government in alliance with Congress and the NCP. Since then, Uddhav Thackeray has also made statements teasing Hindus for adopting the language of Congress. Now he has given a statement regarding Hindutva and cow urine. Thackeray has described his definition of Hindutva as different from the BJP's definition of Hindutva. He has said that his Hindutva means 'nationalism, whereas the meaning of the BJP's Hindutva is linked to 'cow urine'. Uddhav made this statement during the unity and strength demonstration organised by the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Nagpur. Uddhav Thackeray, while clarifying his alliance with Congress, said, 'Every time I am accused that I went with Congress and left Hindutva, are there no Hindus in Congress? Their (RSS-BJP) Hindutva is 'cow urine Hindutva'. Uddhav said that the BJP sprinkled cow urine at the place in Sambhajinagar where we held our public meeting. Those people themselves should drink some cow urine so that they get some sense. Our Hindutva is about nationalism. Uddhav further said, 'On the one hand, the BJP recite Hanuman Chalisa, and on the other hand, it goes to mosques and listens to Qawwali. Is it their Hinduism? They go to Uttar Pradesh and talk about Hindutva? Is this his Hindutva? Our Hindutva is a life sacrifice for the country, and their Hindutva is just a show. This is not the first time that Uddhav has made fun of cow urine while speaking in the language of terrorists. Even in the statement given on March 5, 2023, Uddhav said that the country did not get freedom by sprinkling cow urine. While threatening India, terrorist organisations also often make fun of Indians by calling them a community that drinks cow urine; now Uddhav is also speaking the same language. However, Uddhav must remember that, when the Eknath Shinde faction revolted citing ideology and took out a rally in Aurangabad, Uddhav's own supporters sprinkled cow urine on the entire route, calling it purification.
