CBI court staff raped woman in court, arrested

Nowadays cases of crime are increasing. The case that has come up is from the special CBI court in Delhi where a woman was allegedly raped. Police have arrested the accused person in this case and started the investigation. The accused is a staff in the CBI court and on June 22, Monday, the woman complained to the police. Only after this, the accused was taken into judicial custody.

Police say that the woman is from old Delhi and the woman has told the police that she has known the accused for about six months. The accused called her to meet her in court. According to a report, she also took name of a  senior police officer. The police officer said that the woman has told in her statement that the accused took her to courtroom number 308 and raped her.

On June 22, a phone call was received at the IP Police Station, information was given about the incident, then the police came to know the whole matter. According to the information, a case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). DCP (Central) Sanjay Bhatia said that further investigation is going on and Siddharth Nanwal, Secretary, Rouse Avenue Bar Association, said that, "All the facts of the case are not yet revealed. The trial will take place and then court will take the final decision."
