The cast of Don’t Worry Darling met in New York City for the premiere of their highly anticipated upcoming psychological thriller this Tuesday. Florence Pugh, the movie's female lead, declined to attend the event, so even though the majority of the cast members arrived on the red carpet in style, there was a glaring gap in the ensemble's appearances. Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Douglas Smith, Asif Ali, Dita Von Teese, and Kate Berlant were all in attendance on the red carpet in addition to Pugh. Given their lack of engagement during the Venice Film Festival, many fans were eager to see Wilde and Styles interact at the event. However, much to their disappointment, the real-life pair chose to conduct their private affairs at home. Styles and Wilde did enjoy a fleeting moment on the red carpet, but nothing came of it. While this is happening, news about the impending movie has been making the rounds as it is doused in rumours on a daily basis. Florence Pugh, who has stated that she won't be able to attend most of the film's promotional events, and Olivia Wilde are rumoured to be at odds with one another. The actress just attended the film's screening at the Venice Film Festival, forgoing the red carpet and accompanying press conference. The director maintains that she and Pugh are close friends, but rumours say that Wilde and Pugh are not on speaking terms. Pugh refuses to discuss the rumours.
