Lucknow: SP MLA Abhay Singh's troubles from the Gosaiganj seat in UP's Ayodhya are going to increase. An FIR has been lodged against the Bahubali MLA at Ramsanehighat police station in Barabanki for extortion from a company. Apart from Abhay Singh, four persons including Hardoi history-sheeter Surendra Kalia are named in the case. On Saturday, police arrested Surendra Kalia and his accomplice from the Daryabad area. Now, the Barabanki police are going to crack down on Samajwadi Party MLA Abhay Singh in this incident. Biman Das, an engineer of a West Bengal-based construction company working as a railway in Barabanki, has lodged an FIR of threat, extortion at Ramsanehighat police station. Samajwadi Party MLA Abhay Singh from Gosaiganj seat in Ayodhya, History-sheeter Surendra Kalia of Hardoi, Sonu, Vikram alias Babloo Khan have been named in this FIR of 2 per cent extortion from the construction company. In the complaint, the engineer has alleged that on March 28, at the company's plant in Ghazipur village of Ramsanehighat, three persons first withdrew ₹7,000 from his pocket and then threatened to deliver the amount of extortion at the earliest and clearly stated that if the money did not reach, the consequences would be bad. On the way, the bike riders also gave a number which said that it is the number of MLA Abhay Singh. The criminals told the engineer, "Talk to the MLA as soon as possible." Which will be good for you. The police have registered an FIR against four persons, including Samajwadi Party MLA Abhay Singh, for loot, extortion, gouging and threatening on the information of the engineer. The same case is now being investigated by the police.
