Former UP CM Kalyan Singh test positive for Corona

Lucknow: Former UP CM and BJP veteran Kalyan Singh has also been infected with the coronavirus. He is admitted to the hospital after tested corona positive. Kalyan Singh, 88, who was the Governor of Rajasthan, has been admitted to the Corona Virus ward located at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in the capital on Monday night.

He had fever, dry cough and shortness of breath for the last two days. In this regard, SGPGIMS director Professor RK Dhiman said that the health of veteran BJP leader Kalyan Singh is stable. He has been admitted to the ICU where a team of doctors is constantly monitoring his health. According to media reports, the cook of the former governor of Rajasthan tested positive for corona three days ago.

After this, the Health Department also conducted a medical examination of Kalyan Singh on initial symptoms and his corona report teted positive. So far, more than 15 ministers of Uttar Pradesh government have been tested positive for corona. Two ministers of the Yogi government, Chetan Chauhan and Kamal Rani Varun, have died due to corona infection.
