Former Maldives President Ibrahim Solih extends warm Republic Day greetings to India and praises the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the ex-president of the Maldives, has extended heartfelt Republic Day wishes to India amidst ongoing tensions between Male and New Delhi.

In a message shared on X platform, Solih expressed, "On the auspicious occasion of India's 75th Republic Day, I send my best regards to President Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the entire Indian populace. May the unbreakable bond of friendship between Maldives and India continue to flourish."

Meanwhile, the current Maldivian President, Mohamed Muizzu, also conveyed his greetings to India, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

President H.E. Dr. Mohamed Muizzu conveyed his warm wishes to the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India on the momentous 75th Republic Day.
