Indore: A grandmother and granddaughter were killed in a tragic accident in Indore city in Madhya Pradesh. The granddaughter was going to take her 9th class result with her grandmother. While crossing the track, the train suddenly came and both of them got hit by it. According to the information received from the GRP, Tannu (15), daughter of milk dairy operator Prem Chaudhary, a resident of Bijalpur, was studying in 9th standard in Alpine Public School, Prabhu Nagar. On Wednesday afternoon, Tannu was going to school with her grandmother Sharda's husband Shankarlal Chaudhary to collect the result. The railway track between Bijalpur and Vigyan Nagar was crossing when suddenly the train arrived. The train approached and honked. They were both afraid of what to do. The track was about to cross when the train collided and both of them jumped and fell about 10 feet away. Due to the head injury, grandmother Sharda died on the spot. The granddaughter, Tannu, was taken to the district hospital in critical condition where she also succumbed to her injuries. After the incident, the residents said that the bridge under which the accident took place has had many accidents in the past. In the circle of the shortcut, people cross the track and the train arrives. There is no place to stand on the culvert, due to which people do not find a way to escape.
