Shivpuri: In the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, women staged a violent protest to close down liquor shops. Last night, the women reached the liquor shops and ransacked the liquor shops and threw the liquor boxes on the road. The women said that under no circumstances will the liquor shop be allowed to open here.
As soon as the news of the commotion was received, the police reached the spot and tried to convince the women. But she did not move away from the road and closed the main road in the Fatehpur area. The women of the area submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate and then reached the SP office and demanded the removal of the liquor shop. The contractor company, which has rented out the shop, kept their belongings in that shop late on Tuesday evening, after some time, the women of the area reached there and they first asked the staff of Kalari to close the shop, but when the liquor contractor did not agree, the women started throwing away the liquor boxes in protest.
