Rajasthan might soon have access to Vande Bharat Express' premium train service. As per reports Indian Railways may soon launch a Vande Bharat Express service connecting New Delhi and Jaipur. From the present four hours required by the other express trains running on the New Delhi-Jaipur line, the journey time between the two cities is projected to be lowered to less than two hours. Eight Vande Bharat Express trains are currently running on the nation's various routes, the most recent of which connects the two Telegu-speaking states of Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. Other Vande Bharat Express trains that run include those between New Delhi and Varanasi, New Delhi and Katra, Gandhinagar Capital and Mumbai, New Delhi and Amb Andaura, Chennai and Mysuru, Bilaspur and Nagpur, and Howrah and New Jalpaiguri. Railways Minister Vaishnaw said, "Vande Bharat is a premium train. It can travel 0-100 km in 52 seconds, while other trains in the world take 54 to 60 seconds. The designs of Vande Bharat are even better than that of an aeroplane. It can provide the most comfortable travelling experience." At the launch of the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express, Prime Minister Modi stated that seven already-introduced Vande Bharat trains have travelled a total of 23 lakh kilometres, or 58 full rotations of the earth. Till far, Vande Bharat trains have carried more than 40 lakh passengers. The 1,128-passenger Vande Bharat Express is made up of 14 AC Chair Car Coaches and two Executive AC Chair Car Coaches. It includes special reserved seating and will offer the quickest transit option between these two stations. The train is built using local technology and has modern features and increased comfort. All classes are equipped with reclining seats, while the executive class features rotating seats. It also has automatic sliding doors. Modern passenger amenities are included in the Vande Bharat Express train set, which was designed locally.
