New Delhi: The country is going to get the 8th Vande Bharat soon. In fact, PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to reach Hyderabad on January 19, where he will flag off Vande Bharat as well as lay the foundation stone and launch many more development projects. PM Modi will flag off Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad station. So far, Vande Bharat Express is running on 7 routes of the country.  

PM Modi, during his visit to Hyderabad, will launch various development works worth Rs 2,400 crore linked to South Central Railway. These include the modernization of Secunderabad railway station at a cost of Rs 700 crore, the doubling of the central railway line of Secunderabad and Mahabubnagar at a cost of Rs 1,231 crore, and the Kazipet railway coach workshop at a cost of Rs 521 crore. During his visit to Hyderabad, PM Modi will also address a huge public meeting of supporters at the parade ground in Secunderabad.  

Vande Bharat Train is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. They have all the facilities including a GPS-based information system, CCTV cameras, vacuum-based bio-toilet, and automatic sliding door. Equipped with new features, the next generation Vande Bharat 2.0 train has the facility of Kavach (Train Collision Avoidance System).
