Hyderabad: PM Narendra Modi on Sunday (January 15) flagged off the proposed Vande Bharat Express train between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. This train is the eighth Vande Bharat Express to be started by Indian Railways. Earlier, PM Modi had given the gift of Vande Bharat train to West Bengal and after this, there were reports of stone pelting on this train several times in Bengal. Giving information about this program 2 days ago, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) had told that PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train connecting Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam through video conference on January 15.

According to the report, PM Modi said that today Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are getting a grand gift. I congratulate the people of both the states for the train. Today is also Army Day. PM Modi further said that every citizen of the country is proud of the army. At this time, the enthusiasm of Pongal, Magh Bihu, Makar Sankranti, Uttarayan is also visible in the country. At the same time, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that this train will connect the people of two Telugu-speaking regions. This train will cover a distance of 698 kilometers in just 8 hours. The commercial run of this train will start from Monday.

This train will be the first train to connect the two Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, covering a distance of about 700 km. This train will pass through Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada stations in Andhra Pradesh and Khammam, Warangal and Secunderabad stations in Telangana. This indigenously designed train is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities and is going to provide a fast, comfortable, and convenient travel experience to the passengers.
