However, in the meantime, to curb the adulterated food, the Madhya Pradesh government has established a 'Mobile Testing Laboratory' in Indore on Thursday. According to a report of a website, this lab is full of modern technology and it has been asked to examine 102 types of food samples at nominal rates. Talking about this, Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Praveen told that, 'This mobile food and testing laboratory was flagged off by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Bhopal on Wednesday and reached Indore on Thursday.' Apart from this, he also said that 'this lab is equipped with milk scanner, pH meter, refractometer, TPR meter, pathogen kit, mixer grinder, hot air oven and other modern equipment. With the help of these tools, adulteration can be detected in urea, drinking water, sugar, oil, mawa, cheese, spices and other food items. This mobile van will travel in different areas of the city and people will be able to take food samples and check it. Let us tell you all that the Ministry of Health has also provided rapid testing kits to Food and Drug Administration officials. However, the central government is going to start such mobile labs in other cities soon.
