New Delhi: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will carry on addressing at a post-budget webinar on 'Make in India for the World,' the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said. In accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of making India a worldwide manufacturing hub, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is hosting a post-budget webinar on "Make in India for the World" on March 3, the release read. Manufacturing/Production is one of the primary drivers of growth and employment generation, according to the Union Budget 2022, which lays out a blueprint for India@100. The webinar will cover topics such as India's manufacturing paradigm shift, achieving the trillion-dollar export goal, and MSMEs as a development engine for the country. "The goal of the webinar is to keep the momentum of the Union Budget 2022 going by coordinating efforts with all stakeholders on various steps made to enhance manufacturing, increase exports, and develop MSMEs," said the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. "An Action Plan for the Industry's Way Forward and a Monitoring Framework for Effective Implementation of Growth Reforms in Manufacturing, Exports, and MSMEs will be finalised by utilising stakeholders' skills and experience," it added. The Prime Minister will offer a special address to all attendees on the vision of 'Make in India for the World,' its alignment with the Union Budget 2022, and the webinar's expectations. The event's closing remarks will be delivered by Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
