Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that the government was able to rescue Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine because of India's "rising strength.”
"It is because to India's rising strength that we are able to safely rescue our nationals stuck in Ukraine, for which we are running Operation Ganga," PM Modi stated at a public gathering in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh. "Under Operation Ganga, we are making every effort to evacuate persons trapped in Ukraine. Thousands of people were sent to India. India has assigned four ministers to the region to expedite the task, and the government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the safe evacuation of Indians "he said.
The Prime Minister slammed the Opposition parties for insulting the Centre's 'Atmanirbhar Abhiyan' (self-reliance motion), saying they could never be a party to India's strength.
"Those who make fun of the 'Atmanirbhar Abhiyan' are insulting our (defence) soldiers. Such dynasties will never be able to strengthen India. They're the same ones who started spreading false information regarding the country's COVID vaccines "he said.
