Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has referred to PM Modi's statement in which he said that those protesting can be identified with clothes. On this, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee said that how can you identify someone's religion with clothes. Apart from this, CM of Bengal once again gave a statement regarding NRC. She again reiterated that NRC is creating fear among people, due to which many people may die.

Mamata Banerjee claimed and said, "About 30 people in West Bengal committed suicide due to fear of NRC. Who will take responsibility for this? During this time, Mamata also mentioned PM Modi's statement in which he said that the protesters can be identified by their clothes. To this, Mamata has said, "No troublemaker or protestor can be identified by their costume. Wearing a hat does not mean that you are Muslim. Can you tell me who am I by looking at my clothes?"

Mamata Banerjee blamed the Center, citing the citizenship law, that after some minor incidents, the Center stopped the railway service of Bengal. She said that BJP has more members in Parliament, it does not mean that it can impose any law on the states. Mamata said that railway service in Bengal has been stopped. It is the responsibility of the Railway Police to protect railway property and we are also fully supporting them.
