Maharashtra: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray compared the Jallianwala Bagh massacre to Jamia Milia Islamia in protest against the CAA in Delhi, saying that what happened in Jamia is like Jallianwala Bagh, the student is like a youth bomb. We request the Central Government not to do this to the students. It is being told that the protest against the CAA in Delhi was going on in Jamia Millia Islamia for several days but the situation became uncontrolled due to the involvement of the local people in the student demonstrations on Sunday.
