Mathura: The petition to remove the royal mosque Eidgah from the premises of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi will be heard today in the Mathura Court. This hearing will be held on Thakur Keshav Dev Ji Maharaj Vs Arrangements Committee. There were only 2 of the 4 defendants who appeared on the last date. Sri Krishna Janmasthan and Shahi Eidgah Management Committee appeared in the court in the last hearing held on 22 January. Today, the four defendants will appear in court and present their case. Apart from this, the court can order the inspection of the disputed site by appointing a court accountant on the application of Mahendra Pratap Singh. With this, a decision can also be taken on accepting the suit of the Hindu Army in this matter. The claims have been filed in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division on 23 December 2020 on behalf of Mahendra Pratap Singh Advocate and others, head of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti. A claim has been filed on behalf of the petitioner by making Lord Keshav Dev at Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi as a plaintiff. The Sunni Central Waqf Board, Shahi Eidgah Mosque, Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust, Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Seva Sansthan have been appointed as defendants. The petition has demanded the court to liberate 13.37 acres of the land of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and remove the royal Eidgah Mosque.
