Ahmedabad: Monsoon has knocked in Gujarat. It has been raining intermittently in Ahmedabad since last night. This has brought a lot of relief from the heat. In many areas of Gujarat, the rain continues with the strong wind. There is torrential rains in Aravalli, Sabarkantha, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Amreli and Junagadh districts of Gujarat. Two gates of Vasana barrage have been opened due to heavy rains in Ahmedabad. Areas like Maninagar, Hatkeshwar, Vastral, Vadaj, Ranip, Odhav, CG Road are also receiving heavy rains. The southwest monsoon has knocked over Goa and Maharashtra. Now the monsoon is expected to grow rapidly in many areas of the country. The Meteorological Department estimates that due to the monsoon, most areas of Maharashtra may receive heavy rainfall in the next 48 hours. Let us tell you that earlier the Meteorological Department had estimated that some of Gujarat region, southeastern Madhya Pradesh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and Muzaffarabad Light to moderate rains may occur in the areas. At the same time, light rain or dust storm may occur in parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
