Moosewala's murderer killed in encounter, another man arrested by police

Amritsar: A murderer has been killed in an encounter near Attari in Amritsar in Punjab. Three policemen were also shot. The encounter was going on at Attari in Amritsar district at Chicha Bhakna village near the Pakistan border. According to sources, 6-7 gangsters are suspected to be hiding in Attari village. It is being said that these gangsters are hiding in the old haveli of the village. The Punjab Police had received information that gangsters related to the Sidhu Moosewala massacre may be hiding in the village. Subsequently, the Punjab Police launched a search operation and this led to firing from both sides.

According to reports received from sources, gangster Roopa and his accomplice Mannu were hiding there, which was sealed by the heavy police forces to take control of the area. There is an encounter between the police and the two shooters. Both the gangsters are suspected to be sharpshooters in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Both the criminals are said to be residents of Tarn Taran in Punjab.  

 

Both of them are the sharpshooters of the gang of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. Earlier, the police had arrested a sharpshooter of the Bishnoi gang. The shooter named Ankit Sirsa had fired at Moosewala from close range. Priyavrat was arrested by the police before Ankit Sirsa. While Sachin Bhiwani had sheltered 3 attackers of the Sidhu Moosewala case, he was subsequently arrested.
