Will Sidhu quit Congress and hold admonition of AAP? A tweet creates political turmoil

Chandigarh: Punjab is not naming the congress as an end to the ongoing turmoil. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has always appreciated my work. Cricketer-turned-politician 'Our opposition party AAP has appreciated my vision and work for Punjab.'

 

Sidhu further said that AAP knows who is fighting for Punjab. After Sidhu's tweet, there has been speculation in political circles that he may take over the Aam Aadmi Party. In fact, the confrontation between Navjot Singh Sidhu and Punjab CM Amarinder Singh continues. In view of the upcoming assembly elections, the Congress high command had tried to intervene but nothing has been made so far.

Sources said, the Congress high command is upset with Navjot Singh Sidhu's tweets and may advise him to remain disciplined. On the other hand, Bhagwant Mann, president of the Punjab unit of the AAP whom Sidhu is praising, has accused Sidhu's party Congress of bribery. AAP State President Bhagwant Mann has said that the Congress has benefited private power companies by taking crores of rupees. There is confusion whether you are with the Congress or against it.  However, these two parties are likely to come together in the elections.
