New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi held a review meeting with chief ministers of north eastern states through video conferencing on the current condition of corona. As a result, the Prime Minister said that it is true that the corona has greatly affected tourism, trade, but it is not right to throng the hill stations, without wearing masks, in the markets.

Prime Minister Modi said that the "Vaccine-Free Vaccine to All" campaign being run by the Union Government is equally important in the North East. We have to keep speeding up the vaccination process to compete with the third wave. He said that we have to move forward by improving the infrastructure related to testing and testing. Speaking on the part of the meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that the Cabinet has recently approved a new package of 23,000 crore rupees for corona testing and testing.

The same will help every region of the North East to strengthen their health infrastructure with this package. We also have to keep an eye on every variant of corona virus, he added. Experts are constantly studying how disturbing it will be after mutation. The North Eastern States have recently seen an increase in corona cases even after the decline in the number of corona cases across the country. The Central Government had earlier this month sent multi-disciplinary expert teams to six states, four of which were from the North Eastern Region - Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
