Lucknow: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized a huge consignment of drugs in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. A team from UP's capital Lucknow has recovered 80 sacks of ganja from Fatehpur. It is being told that the value of this ganja in the open market is 5 to 6 crore rupees. As per the information received, ganja was being transported from Orissa to Rajasthan. On Sunday night, an NCB team nabbed the truck carrying ganja along with the driver near Shahjahanpur under the Bakeware police station area on Mughal Road. The NCB and the police are engaged in an in-depth investigation into this whole game of ganja smuggling. Earlier last week, the marijuana business was also unearthed in Fatehpur. At that time, SDM Sadar Navneet Sehra had come to buy ganja as a customer. After purchasing marijuana, he called the police and called them to the spot and arrested the youth who was selling ganja. 315 grams of marijuana were recovered from him. The UP Police is continuously running a campaign to catch the drug dealers and arrest the smugglers.
