Noida: A young man strangled his 38-year-old married girlfriend to death at an OYO hotel located in Chijarsi Colony of Noida's Sector 63 police station, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. The deceased was the mother of two children, while the marriage of the accused youth was confirmed with a girl. The married girlfriend of the accused was forbidding him to talk to the fiance. Due to this, there was a dispute between the two in the hotel room. The police have arrested the accused. ACP Amit Pratap Singh has informed me that there is an OYO hotel named Raj Villa in Chijarsi Colony. The management here told me on Friday night that the body of the woman was lying in the bathroom of a room in their hotel. When the police reached the spot after receiving the information, the dead body of the woman was lying there in a bloody state. The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Anita, a resident of Etawah. Anita lived with her husband and children on rent in Chotpur Colony. He has two sons, ages 18 and 13. His niece also lives with him. The ACP has told that the accused Sonu killed the woman by hitting her head against the wall and strangulating her. After committing the murder, the accused came out of the hotel on the pretext of taking food and then fled. The police investigation revealed that the woman had come to the OYO with her boyfriend Sonu around 11 a.m. on Friday. Sonu is a resident of Kathmau village in Etawah and is a distant relative of the deceased. They had been having a love affair for a year. Sonu was going to get married on May 3. Sonu told me that he had gotten engaged to a girl a few days ago. He used to talk to her on the phone. When he was in the hotel room with Anita on Friday, he got a call from his fiancee. There was a dispute between Sonu and Anita regarding this matter. After this, Sonu hit Anita's head against the wall. She ran into the bathroom to defend herself. Here, he killed Anita by strangling her.
