State-owned oil companies have announced a cut in the price of cooking gas a little before the budget. This has made commercial LPG cylinders cheaper. The price of the LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 91.50. According to the companies, this cut in prices has come into effect from today i.e. February 01, 2022. Now the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has come down to Rs 1907. This decision is also being seen as being linked to the upcoming assembly elections. Due to the change in prices, the price of a non-subsidised domestic cylinder in Delhi from February 01 will be Rs 899.50. In Kolkata, it will be available for Rs 926, while in Mumbai, it will be the same as in Delhi. In Chennai, the cylinder will be available for Rs 915.50.
