"Bengaluru India Nano", a flagship event of the Karnataka government, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai from March 7-9. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Minister for IT/BT and Science & Technology, told a press conference on Wednesday that the annual event is being held virtually for the first time. Over ten nations will be represented, including Israel, Japan, Germany, and Canada, and the event will be organised in collaboration with five key industries, including IESA, TIE Bangalore, and others, he said. Dr. C.N.R. Rao, a Bharat Ratna awardee scientist and Honorary Chairperson of the State Vision Group for Nano Technology, as well as Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Union Minister of State for Information Technology and Broadcasting, will be in attendance, he said. "Nanomedicine, nanophotonics, nanotextiles, and hydrogen technology are among the topics covered at the 12th edition of the 'Bengaluru India Nano' summit.
