Pakistan spread lies over Balakot, fake video released

Islamabad: Director General and Spokesperson of the Pakistan Army's Media Wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Andas Ghafoor has once again tried to spread fake news with his Twitter handle. In a false video tweet on Sunday, Asif Ghafoor claimed that the former Air Marshal of the Indian Air Force had admitted that India suffered damage and failure in the operation in Balakot on February 27 this year.

However, after the video was proved to be fake, Ghafoor admitted that the video was tampered with. However, he has not formally admitted the mistake. Investigations have revealed that the video was almost 4 years old and that the former Air Marshal was referring to the 1965 war. This video is available on YouTube and contains former Air Marshals discussing the war of 1965. This video was posted on YouTube by Wilderness Films India on August 9, 2015.

This video is available on YouTube titled Nehru Lost India The War. Air Marshal Denzil Keilore discusses the wars of 1962 and 1965. On the other hand, Asif Ghafoor tweeted a fake clip of the video of the former Air Marshal claiming that Denzil Kelore was referring to the failures during India's action in Balakot on February 27.
