Islamabad: Pakistan's PM Imran Khan was given a warm welcome late Wednesday night at the Islamabad airport upon his return from a US tour. At the airport, his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf activists were present in large numbers and playing drums. According to a report published in Pakistani media, PM Imran Khan, who returned from a "successful" visit to the US, received a warm welcome. Imran said he felt like he had not returned from a foreign tour but had won the World Cup. It may be mentioned that Pakistan, led by Imran, won the Cricket World Cup in 1992. All senior leaders of his party were among those who welcomed Imran Khan at Islamabad International Airport. On the occasion, party workers were dancing and shouting slogans in support of Imran. "We have to make Pakistan great," Imran said in his address on the occasion. Imran went on to say that Pakistan is sure to be a great country in line with the dreams of the great thinker and poet Allama Iqbal and it will not be begging. I am not bowing down to anybody, nor will I allow the Pakistani Voice to bow down to anybody. On the way back from the U.S. to Pakistan, Imran stayed in Qatar for a while and met him at Qatar's Prime Minister Abdullah bin Salal bin Al-Sani's Doha residence.
