Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal On Thursday while addressing the session "Strategic Scenario: India" held at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020, said that Muslims of India are safer than anywhere else in the world. Goyal said that India is possibly one of the most inclusive societies in the world. He said, India is a country that welcomes all kinds of views and ideas. Regarding providing equal opportunities, Muslims in India are safer than anywhere else in the world. He said that no discrimination of any kind is done in any government program. In his statement, the minister said, when we give electricity to every house, we do not ask their color or religion. When we deliver toilets, digital technology, bank accounts, cooking gas to every house, we do not ask their religion. All our programs are equal for all. Defending the amended citizenship law, Goyal said, it is the duty of India to protect those who are tortured on religious grounds. Railway and Commerce and Industry Minister Goyal said that India is the land which has the power of democracy, demographics, leadership, talent and opportunity. Apart from this, he said, "Citizenship is a subject which every country protects, each country has its own rules and citizenship laws which the world respects." He said that there are 57 Islamic countries in the world and each except one or two The country respects the welfare work done by India for its people beyond religion.
