As the release date nears, protests against it seem to be intensifying. Meanwhile, on Saturday (January 21) in Guwahati, Assam, a Bajrang Dal worker tore a poster of the film and burnt it in a cinema hall. At the same time, when Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was questioned in this regard, he asked, 'Who is Shah Rukh Khan?'

On the other hand, when Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was questioned regarding the incident, he first said, ''Who is Shah Rukh Khan? I don't know anything about him or his film 'Pathaan'. The Assamese film Dr. Bezbarua-Part 2 will also be released, and the people of Assam should watch it.''

After this CM Sarma said, 'Khan has not told me anything about this problem. Bollywood people keep talking to me. When he also speaks, we will see it. If the law has been violated, we will take action on it.'
