Mumbai: The president of the deprived BahumlaPrakash Ambedkar said at a press conference in Mumbai today that he has offered 144 seats to the Congress for alliance in the Maharashtra assembly elections. With this, The Congress is being given time till August 31 to consider it. If there is no response from the Congress in the meantime, then we will clarify our role. On the alliance with AIMIM, Ambedkar said, the alliance with him will continue in the assembly elections. Talking to the press, Ambedkar said, "If the Congress is to accept the proposal, it should inform us of its decision by August 31. The Congress does not have candidates for more than 80 seats for the assembly elections. Of these, 40 are current MLAs, yet we are willing to give 144 seats to the Congress. On the enforcement directorate's (ED) probe, Prakash Ambedkar says, "It is an attempt by the government to eliminate opposition parties. The investigation that is going on is clearly visible. I urge the voters to keep the opposition alive. Leaders of opposition parties are being intimidated. Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray has also been silenced. That clearly shows the intentions of the BJP government.
