New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has once again given a big gift to the people of Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today announced a scheme. In it, he has announced waiver of outstanding water bills. The benefit of the scheme will be available to those whose houses have functional meters. Consumers who have installed meters before 30th November will get the benefit of the scheme. The late fee will also be waived for all consumers who have functional meters in their homes.

Under the scheme, 100 per cent bills of E F, G, H category people will be waived till March 31 in Delhi.  A, 25 percent bill of B category will be waived. C category will waive 50 percent bill. 10 million people under E, F, G, H category will benefit. Arvind Kejriwal has said that the scheme will generate an income of Rs 600 crore to the government. It will also strengthen our economic situation. "I will write to all water consumers in Delhi," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal said consumers can install meters of their choice in their homes. The same has to be reported to the nearest Water Board Office. Doorstep delivery can also be used to install meters. A total of 13 and a half lakh people are outstanding in Delhi. Now they will get the direct benefit of this.
