Lucknow: The state government is preparing for legal action in the Ghaziabad land-use change scam. This rigging took place during the rule of the previous government. In this, a profit of Rs 572.48 crore was delivered to the land consumers on Ghaziabad Development Authority's cost. This has been revealed in the CAG report. CM Yogi Adityanath had decided to conduct an audit with the CAG of the Development Authority after joining politics. CAG revealed the scam by investigating the land-use changes from October 2010 to October 2013 in the GDA. It was learned that the Authority had agreed on a layout plan of 4722.19 acres of land for all the developers. In this, Uppal Chadda Hitech Developers Pvt. Ltd. 4004.25 acres of land from October 2010 to October 2013, Sun City Hitech Infra Pvt. Ltd. In July 2011, a layout plan was agreed on 717.94 acres of land. 2985.03 acres of Uppal Chadda Hitech Development and 717.94 acres of Sun City Infra were symbolically selected as Hitech Township in 2021. On this, the developers were required to pay a land-use conversion fee of Rs 572.48 crore, but the current government issued an order on 23 April 2010, under which the developers were not charged. This resulted in a loss of Rs 572.48 crore to the authority. The government spokesman said that the government will take legal action in this. All the scams will be investigated.
