Chennai: V.K.Sasikala, the expelled interim general secretary of the AIADMK, is on a two-day tour to South Tamil Nadu and has met with key party officials. Former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's aide visited with officials in the districts of Theni, Madurai, Dindigul, and Tirunelveli. According to sources close to her, she will meet with a number of authorities on Saturday as well. Sasikala is on a pilgrimage to major temples in Radhapauram, South Tamil Nadu, such as Tiruchandur, Vijayapathi Sri Vishwamithrar, and a few more, according to her itinerary.She was greeted with a raucous welcome at Tuticorin airport, where she arrived on Friday, with fans bordering both sides of the road waving AIADMK flags. Several party leaders told her that she needed to return and take the reins of the party if the AIADMK was to make a comeback, and that now was the moment to do it.The party's Theni district committee recently endorsed a resolution demanding for Sasikala and her nephew T.T.V.
