Man murdered for just Rs 3,000 and a mobile phone, arrested

Lucknow: The police have made a major revelation about the murder of a youth in Sulabh toilet at Shyamganj in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The youth was killed in a quarrel over just three thousand rupees and a mobile phone. In this case, the police have arrested two of the accused and recovered a knife from them. A case has been registered against the accused on charges of murder and the Arms Act at Police Station Baradari.

SSC Rohit Singh Sajwan told a press conference at the police office that a team was formed to unearth the murder under the direction of ASP Saad Mian. On February 25, Rajesh alias Gullu, a resident of Madhinath in Subhash Nagar, was recovered from his body near Sulabh toilet in Shyamganj. The post-mortem report had revealed that he was strangulated to death.

In this case, police have arrested Shakeel alias Shanu alias Nagaraj, a resident of Ajaz Nagar Gotia in Baradari, Shah Rukh alias Zulfiqar, a resident of Uncha Mohalla Hall Faridapur Chaudhary in Faridpur. The accused were going to the 300-bed hospital on Saturday. During this time, the police arrested them. The police recovered a knife from them. Both the accused have been sent to jail after being produced before the court.
