Shinde faction announces Shiv Sena's new executive, Uddhav appointed party president

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting with his supporting MLAs on Monday. Meanwhile, the old national executive of shiv sena was dissolved and the new executive was announced. At the same time, Eknath Shinde elected as "chief leader" of the Shiv Sena, although the special thing was that the recognition of Uddhav Thackeray as the party president was retained. Deepak Kesarkar has been appointed as the party's spokesperson in the new Shiv Sena executive, while Ramdas Kadam and Anandrao Adsul have been elected as leaders.

Let me tell you all that Yashwant Jadhav, Gulabrao Patil, Uday Samant, Sharad Ponkshe, Tanaji Sawant, Vijay Nahta, Shivajirao Adrao Patil have been elected as deputy leaders. At the same time, 14 MLAs who had extended their support to Uddhav Thackeray during the Eknath Shinde faction's revolt against the Shiv Sena leadership also adopted proposals for the appointment of party executive members. Let us tell you all that Uddhav Thackeray had on Monday itself expelled former minister Ramdas Kadam and former Union minister Anandrao Adsul from the Shiv Sena by accusing them of being involved in anti-party activities. In fact, he had appointed more than 100 new office-bearers in Mumbai, Palghar, Yavatmal, Amravati and other districts. After this decision, the Shinde faction met and the above decisions were taken.

At the same time, the Shinde faction has claimed that the "real Shiv Sena" is the same as 40 of the party's 55 MLAs are with them. Shinde faction spokesman Deepak Kesarkar said, "The rebel MLAs still have faith in Uddhav Thackeray, but the Shinde faction is the real Shiv Sena.'' On the other hand, in the whole episode, MP Sanjay Raut said, "A group of people broken from shiv sena formed a new national executive and disbanded our executive... you people broke up and went separately. From the 20th, there will be a hearing in the Supreme Court on whether you will remain an MLA or not and you are sacking us.'' According to sources, 12 of the 18 Shiv Sena MPs are in touch with Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and they are likely to hold a press conference in Delhi today about their next possible move.
