An all-party meeting was convened by the government today ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament beginning tomorrow. Yes, the government was represented in the meeting by senior Union Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP leader in the Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi. During this time, many senior leaders of the party and the opposition were present at the meeting. However, PM Modi did not attend this meeting during this time. In fact, the meeting was attended by leaders of almost all the parties, including Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Jairam Ramesh, T.R. Baalu and Tiruchi Siva of the DMK, Sudip Bandyopadhyay of the TMC and Sharad Pawar of the NCP. Not only this but the meeting was also attended by Pinaki Mishra of BJD, Vijayasai Reddy and Midhun Reddy of YSRCP, Keshav Rao and Nama Nageshwar Rao of TRS, AD Singh of RJD and Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena.

On the other hand, in the all-party meeting convened by the Central government today, all the opposition parties raised the issues of price rise, the 'unparliamentary word' controversy and the demand for withdrawal of the Agneepath recruitment scheme. Let you also tell all that the monsoon session of Parliament will start from July 18 and end on August 12. Congress, on the other hand, questioned prime minister Narendra Modi's absence from the meeting. Indeed, the all-party meeting has just begun to discuss the upcoming session of Parliament and the Prime Minister is, as usual, absent. Isn't that 'unparliamentary'? In fact, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, "Many issues were discussed in the all-party meeting and we have placed at least 13 issues before the government. About 20 issues have come up there.''

It is being said that there are 32 bills, out of which only 14 bills are ready, but he did not say which are the 14 bills. Meanwhile, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, "We have invited 45 political parties, out of which 36 attended the all-party meeting today. The 36 leaders put forth their views, gave suggestions and demanded a discussion with the government on certain issues.'' The Government is ready to discuss any issue in Parliament. To a question on PM Modi not attending the all-party meeting, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said the opposition is trying to create issues without talking as it has nothing against the government.

When you were in power, even your Prime Minister did not come to the all-party meeting. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, while replying to the controversy over unparliamentary words, said that the Central government will hold an all-party meeting on the situation in Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and S. Jaishankar will preside over it. The Opposition is trying to malign the image of Parliament.
