Rewa: A Congress candidate died of a heart attack after losing the election of councillor in Hanumana Nagar Panchayat of Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. Harinarayan Gupta was in the fray on a Congress ticket from ward number 09. Independent candidate Akhilesh Gupta was defeated by 14 votes. Harinarayan was the Hanumana Mandal president of the Congress party. As soon as the counting of votes was over, as soon as the news was received that he had lost the election by 14 votes, he suffered a heart attack and lost his life.

In Madhya Pradesh, the counting of votes for the civic body elections is underway. The BJP has won the elections in Satna, Burhanpur and Khandwa. Congress is leading in Jabalpur, Chhindwara and Gwalior. Aam Aadmi Party is leading in Singrauli. BJP is leading in Indore, Bhopal and Sagar.

On the other hand, if we talk about Khandwa municipal body seat, then in this seat also, the BJP has hoisted its flag. Let us tell you that in 50 wards in Khandwa, the BJP has won a total of 29 wards. At the same time, all eyes were on the Khandwa mayoral seat. From the time of getting the ticket till the result came out, there was speculation about who would be the mayor of the city, but after the results came out today, the situation became clear and BJP's mayoral candidate Amrita Yadav won the ticket by defeating Congress candidate Asha Mishra.
