Raipur: An angry man killed his father after taunting his wife for not having a child in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari district. Police officers gave this news on Wednesday. Officials said that the police have arrested his son Khelandas (30) in connection with the murder of Shivnarayan Satnami (55), a resident of Devpur village in the district's city area. Police said that Khelandas was married to Sangeeta about 12 years ago and Shivnarayan used to always taunt Sangeeta when she did not have any children. Due to this, Sangeeta and Khelandas used to be troubled. Police officers said that on Tuesday, there was a dispute between Shivnarayan and Sangeeta when Shivnarayan taunted Sangeeta for not having a child. Due to this Khelandas got angry and attacked the father with a shovel. Shivnarayan was seriously injured in this incident. According to the police, after the incident, local people took Shivnarayan to Nagri village for treatment, from where he was sent to Dhamtari. Shivnarayan was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Wednesday due to treatment. Police officials said that Khelandas has been arrested for the murder of his father.
