New Delhi: Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi will address party leaders and workers at a function to commemorate the 75th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. On the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress is organising events across the country. The 75th birth anniversary of the country's former PM Rajiv Gandhi has been organised at KD Jadhav Indoor Stadium. Sonia Gandhi will address party leaders and activists from across the country. With this programme, the Rajiv @75 Event Series will begin and similar events will be held in different parts of the country. The events will present memories of Rajiv Gandhi's life through video-audio. It also includes painting and digital displays. Congress will organise events across the country under Rajiv@75. The first event will begin with Sonia Gandhi's address. Former PM Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20, 1944. On the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, several Congress leaders including interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ahmed Patel paid tributes to him. PM Modi also remembered former PM Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
