New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on a visit to France on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport at 9 PM. Later, at 9.45 p.m., Modi will hold bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. The delegation meeting will be held at 10.30 p.m. and then at 11.30 p.m. the two top leaders will hold joint press conferences.
In a series of tweets, Modi himself has revealed his visit. He wrote, "I will be on a tour of France, UAE and Bahrain from August 22 to 26," he wrote in a tweet. "The visit will further strengthen relations with our friendly countries and help enhance cooperation," pm Modi wrote on the Visit to France, "My visit to France reflects the strength of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Bilateral meeting will be held in France on August 22-23. It will also meet with President Macron and PM Philippe. I will also meet the people of the Indian community, including the families of the victims of the Air India crash in France."
He said, "We will participate in the G-7 summit on August 25-26. Macron has hosted an op on the environment, climate, ocean and digital transformation, inviting me to join. Prime Minister Modi said that the meeting is expected to further strengthen the relationship between India and France.
