Dehradun: While breaking the wall of a dilapidated school building in Uttarakhand's Padav mohalla, the roof suddenly collapsed. Due to this, a worker was buried in the debris. Two workers saved their lives by fleeing. There was chaos around the accident. People gathered at the spot in large numbers. On receiving the information, police, fire brigade and municipal teams rushed to the spot. The team, with the help of locals, pulled out the labourer buried in the debris and rushed him to the hospital. A school building in the halt area of Roorkee is in dilapidated condition. The school closed a long time ago. A few days ago, a wall of the school collapsed. On this, the Municipal Corporation had decided to demolish the dilapidated building in view of the possibility of an accident. On Friday, three labourers, Pappu resident Amber Talab and Chandrapal resident Paniyala and another were breaking the walls of the school building. Meanwhile, the roof of one of the rooms of the school suddenly collapsed. Seeing the roof falling, two workers fled, but Pappu was buried in the debris. On receiving the information, a fire brigade team including SNA SK Gupta, Gangnahar Kotwali in-charge Aiswarya Pal rushed to the spot. The police, with the help of local people, somehow pulled out the labourer who was buried under the debris and admitted him to the Civil Hospital. The condition of the worker is said to be out of danger. At the same time, it is being said that Chandrapal has also suffered minor injuries.
