New Delhi: The Committee of Administrators (COA) headed by the Supreme Court, Vinod Rai, barred some Board officials from participating in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) elections to be held in Mumbai on October 23. It includes the current acting president CK Khanna, acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary. They have not been called in the election. Due to which all these three officials are angry. One of these officials told that the COA Supreme Court had the responsibility of the BCCI to all three of us. Despite this, it is thoughtful politics to not invite the three COA officials to the Annual General Assembly (AGM) on October 23. The special thing is that CK Khanna, Amitabh and Anirudh won the last BCCI elections to become vice-president, joint secretary and treasurer respectively. After giving a decision on the recommendations of the Lodha Committee, the Supreme Court had given Khanna the acting president and Amitabh as secretary, being the senior-most vice-president. The officer said that the Supreme Court had given us the responsibility and the COA is violating the same. We are thinking of complaining to the COA, Election Officer and Justice.
