Deoria: The principal in charge of the women's degree college has been removed from the post after the controversial video surfaced in UP's Deoria. The police have also registered an FIR against the criminal. It is alleged that the principal-in-charge used to molest the young women at his official residence. Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi has also directed to constitute of an inquiry committee on the matter. In fact, the principal-in-charge, Rajesh Bharti, is accused of calling the college girls to his official residence by implicating them in conversations and then touching them inappropriately. A video of a girl sitting in principal Bharti's car has also gone viral. The footage showed the girl leaving the principal's government house and sitting in his car. The neighbours also complained about the case. When the incident came to light, Bharti was immediately removed from the post and an inquiry committee was constituted. At the same time, kotwal police have registered a case against the criminal principal. It may be recalled that when the matter came to the notice of the Regional Higher Education Officer Dr. Ashwani Kumar Mishra, he had reached the college. He had taken information from the college staff and other office-bearers in this regard. On the other hand, Rajesh Bharti has been replaced and appointed as the new Principal of Rakhi Bharti College. Rakhi Bharti said, "I have received complaints from 5-6 young women that the principal in-charge takes the girls to his residence. I told the girls that I don't think so of anyone's character. But when the girls gave evidence, I warned Rajesh Bharti not to do so. It is a prestigious college. At first, Bharti refused to do any such act and then later admitted. And he told you not to do it again. But still don't believe it. The principal further said, "5-6 girls gave a written complaint of bad touch. A video has also gone viral, seeing which all the complaints seem to be true. Now we want him to leave college. On the other hand, State Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi, who visited Deoria, said, "An inquiry committee of four persons has been formed in the women's degree college molestation case. Which includes disabled welfare officers, magistrates, COs. A case will be filed when the report comes. On the whole incident, CO City Shreyas Tripathi said over the call that a complaint has been lodged under sections 354 and 166 of the IPC against the principal Rajesh Bharti in charge of the culprit.
