Yogi government tough on law and order, crackdown on 2 IPS officers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government is seen in Action Modi. There are allegations from the opposition that there is a disturbance in the name of transfer-posting in this government, but in contrast, the Yogi government has taken action against the top official on a complaint of a similar case. The action was taken by Additional Chief Secretary Home Avanish Awasthi under the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath.

While reviewing the law and order situation, CM Yogi has taken a tough stand against the officers found to be negligent and irregularity. CM Yogi has directed top officers of the Home and Police Department. SSP Bulandshahar N. Colanchi has been suspended on charges of irregularity in the deployment of police stations. In his place, Chandauli Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new SSP of Bulandshahar, while Hemant Kutyal has been posted in Chandauli. Earlier, Kutial was posted to the rank of Army Naik in the SDRF.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avanish Awasthi informed that during the review of law and order by CM Yogi Adityanath, there was an irregularity in the posting of police stations in Bulandshahr. The CM Yogi then conducted a confidential enquiry from the DGP headquarters. During the investigation, the allegations were found to be true, after which SSP Bulandshahar was suspended on the basis of the report of DGP Om Prakash Singh.
