Two sides clash over stolen goods, one elderly man killed, 3 injured in firing

Lucknow: A 60-year-old man lost his life in a firing between two groups over stolen goods in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor. His two sons were seriously injured. Both have been referred to a higher centre for treatment. There has been an atmosphere of panic in the area since this incident of firing. Due to which police force has been deployed there.

Giving information, police said that some farm items belonging to Devendra Singh, a resident of village Sawahedi, were stolen four months ago. But on Saturday morning, he saw that his belongings were with Pinku and Navneet of the village itself. When Devendra asked him for his belongings back, there was a dispute between the two sides. The dispute later turned into a scuffle. During this time Pinku, Vipul and Navneet opened fire on Devendra Singh and his sons. In which 60-year-old Devendra died on the spot.

While his two sons Mohit and Atul were seriously injured in the firing. Along with this, one of his relatives, Vansh, was also injured by a knife. The locals rushed everyone to the hospital. From there, mohit and atul have been referred to the higher centre in Meerut in view of their critical condition. At the same time, the police are on the lookout for the criminals.
