Patna: The criminal incidents in Bihar over property disputes are not taking the name of stopping. The latest case has come to light from the Bihta police station area adjoining the capital Patna, where there was a fierce clash and firing between the two sides over a property dispute in Nathupur village. In which a middle-aged man was shot dead, while more than half a dozen were injured. There was a hue and cry among the family members of the deceased. They're crying badly.

On getting information about the case, Bihta police reached the spot. He has taken the body of the deceased person into custody and sent it to Danapur for postmortem. Police are currently investigating the case. The deceased has been identified as Lakhu Ram, a resident of Nathupur village. Lakhu Ram's age is said to be 50 years. It is reported about the incident that there was an old enmity between Lakhu Ram and Ramkumar Sharma's family over the land for the last three years. The deceased left the village fearing assault and lived in a rented house at Bochachak in Danapur. Last night, the deceased along with his wife Neelam Devi, son Om Prakash Ram, Chhotu Kumar, Amarnath Kumar and Nandan Kumar had returned to their house.

On Saturday morning, the entire team of Ramkumar Sharma's family reached with force and demanded to leave the ancestral residence of the deceased as that is their conventional land, after which a scuffle started on both sides. After this, the dispute increased a lot and then fighting and firing started from both sides. In which Lakhu Ram died on the spot due to bullet injuries. After the death, there was an outcry among the relatives of the deceased. The deceased son Om Prakash told that before a family of the village there was a dispute over land. On Saturday, when all of us were at our house, only then those people reached and started throwing the things kept in the house first and started beating. In this, my father was shot and killed. At present, when asked about the incident, the Bihta police refused to say anything in front of the camera and said that the matter would be investigated.
