Priyanka Gandhi to be 'CM's face' in UP polls? Gave this answer

Lucknow: The Congress today presented a youth manifesto for the UP assembly elections. Through this, Congress is trying to woo the youth of the state. Talking to media in Delhi today, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was asked if she would be the face of the chief minister of the state. So she said there is no face right now and does there be any other face other than her? On the question of contesting elections, she said no decision has been taken in this regard.

In fact, Congress does not want to leave any lacuna to woo the people of Uttar Pradesh and is promising employment for the youth and security for women. The Congress General Secretary is trying to attract women to the party by announcing schemes for them in the state. Under its scheme, Congress has given 40 per cent tickets to women in the state and the Congress hopes to get the benefit of its scheme in the elections.

When asked if she would be a contender in the Uttar Pradesh elections, Congress General Secretary Priyanka said it was not clear yet. She said no decision has been taken on whether she will contest or not. On the other hand, she did not give a direct reply to the media on the question on the chief minister's face and asked the opposite question and said that you see another face. A few days ago, there was talk in the state that Priyanka Gandhi may try her luck in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. But there were two factions in the party. One faction was in favour of Priyanka Gandhi and the other was against it.
