Lakhimpur Khiri: A teenager from Pakgth village under Lakhimpur Khiri district of Uttar Pradesh has been killed. The teenager's body was recovered from a sugarcane field near the village on Sunday evening. The teenager went missing on Friday. After the body was found, there was a sensation in the village. Police also rushed to the spot after the body was reported. Police said that injuries were found on the teenager's neck. The body has been put in the hospital for post mortem at present. The police had registered a case on the complaint of the parents after her disappearance on Friday. The girl's parents, in a statement to the police, denied any animosity in the village. ASP also rushed to the spot as soon as the case was reported. SSP AK Singh then rushed to the spot for further questioning. He also instructed forensic experts to go on the spot for evidence. SP Vijay Dhule has also sent crime branch and surveillance team to the village. Police said that action will be taken only after the post mortem report.
