Lucknow: A youth named Salman has been accused of hoisting a Pakistani flag on the roof of his house in Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar district. Soon, the video spread like fire on social media. As soon as the matter was reported, the police seized the flag and arrested the accused. Local people have expressed displeasure over Salman's act. The police have informed about this action on August 12, 2022 (Friday). In another incident on the same day, three people were arrested for allegedly breaking the saffron flag in Rajasthan's Jalore. The first case is of Bendupar Mustakil, a village under police station Taryasujan of Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh. According to media reports, Salman put a Pakistani flag on the roof even after the family refused. As soon as the video went viral, the police reached the spot and removed the flag and arrested Salman. District Additional Superintendent of Police Ritesh Kumar Singh confirmed the incident and action. In the viral video of this incident, a Pakistani flag is seen on a high stick on the roof. A woman is seen standing with a boy near the flag. Someone made the video from a distance. The second incident took place in Rajasthan's Jalore district. Here, a saffron flag at the hospital square was broken by 3 accused. Police have arrested Armaan Khan, Mansoor Ahmed and Mohammad Aslam. The police took this action on August 12, 2012 (Friday). The police have registered a case under Sections 124-A, 153-A, 295-A and 295 of the IPC. The three arrested accused are residents of different parts of Jalore. They are being questioned. According to reports, Armaan is posted as a home guard in Rajasthan Police.
